So… I’ve come to the realization that I never introduced myself.
My name is Girl Hazard.
Of course I have a real name, but Girl Hazard is my alias.
If you’ve stumbled onto this site, welcome to my diary.
I created this as a way to express myself and talk about my life in a way that doesn't feel so boring. Why not lay it all out on the internet, behind an alias?
I mean, also, I’ve never fully committed to a notebook. I feel as though I have so many, half-filled.
Hmmmm… what else.
I’m a twenty-two-year-old girl striving to become a rockstar, movie star, and fashion designer. The rest is yet to be determined.
If you asked me last year what my career label was, I would’ve said fashion designer. Except, I messed up the 3,000-unit collection I was working on and already spent enough money, so I decided to stop. At first, I wanted to figure it out and continue on, but I soon realized I was over it. Yes, I failed and of course should never give up, but I'd like to try new things. Put that aside and come back to it at a much later date.
Singing, with a side of chemistry, is my current career label.
Before I quit my job at the restaurant two weeks ago, I spent my last paycheck on ingredients, a beaker, and pipettes. I thought, well, I might as well invest in something before I run out of money. Then I have a backup plan if everything else goes wrong.
One more thing for my introduction:
I have three dogs. Kee Baby, Baby Boy, and Ju-wadge.
My dogs have aliases too.
For the past two weeks, I have been traveling. London, Amsterdam, and now I’m in Charleston. I am visiting for the Charleston Affair, which is what I consider our college prom. All graduates and alumni are invited to join. I went last year and it was so fun, I’m excited to go again this weekend. The assignment is to baddie. I haveee to give the people what they need.
I love trying new things and having hobbies. I actually just started writing a song about that—about how I’ll try a bunch of things, enjoy it for a bit, and then move on. It’s so fun and keeps things interesting.
That’s all for today.
With Danger & Grace,
Girl Hazard
